Democrat Amy Tresidder has launched a campaign commercial in her race against state Sen. Patty Ritchie, R-Heuvelton.

The spot, which will start airing today, features Mrs. Tresidder telling viewers that she'll work with Rep. Bill Owens, D-Plattsburgh; Dan Maffei, a Democratic candidate against Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle; and Assemblywoman Addie Russell, D-Theresa. An intriguing array of officials there.

"I will support home-rule legislation to help control property taxes," she said. She supports St. Lawrence County's effort to raise its local sales tax from 3 percent to 4 percent. Mrs. Ritchie does not.
