I am so grateful to have found OGD after a very stressful experience with another garage door company.
Johnathan arrived on time, introduced himself, and shook my hand. From the very beginning, he was friendly, courteous, respectful, and professional. He explained the process before getting started and then went straight to work.
What impressed me most was that he didn’t simply look at the obvious problem and make a quick repair. He performed a thorough, multipoint inspection of the entire garage door system. He took pictures of his findings and explained everything to me in simple, easy-to-understand language. He gave me options and provided fair and reasonable rates without making me feel pressured.
Johnathan repaired my garage door, and before leaving, he neatly placed a sticker on the door with OGD’s contact and warranty information. He also explained my payment options and was kind and patient throughout the entire process.
The excellent customer service actually began the moment I contacted OGD. On the day of my appointment, I received tracking information for the technician ahead of time, which allowed me to follow his movements and estimated time of arrival. That level of communication gave me peace of mind.
As a woman dealing with a broken garage door, I was already stressed and anxious. Unfortunately, I initially contacted another company that charged me $150, performed a quick repair, and did not resolve the actual problem. That experience left me frustrated and disappointed.
But sometimes a bad experience leads you exactly where you need to be. In this case, it led me to OGD and to Johnathan.
In a time when it can be difficult to know who you can trust, I was genuinely impressed by the professionalism, transparency, and integrity I experienced with this company. I never felt taken advantage of or pressured into unnecessary repairs. Instead, I felt respected, informed, and confident that my garage door was being properly taken care of.

Michael was our assigned technician with Overhead Door. He arrived on time to help with our outside remote opener. It is way over 10 years, and needed to be replaced. He installed a new, modern device that we already immensely like. We are very pleased with his entire visit.

James Dwyer was most professional and helpful in evaluating and addressing our garage door issues. He resolved those issues quickly, all within hours of requesting his assistance.

I called Tuesday about our garage door that wasn’t working. They were able to schedule an appointment at 8 AM the next day. Very prompt. The technician said that we needed a new garage door opener. He had to order it, but was able to install it the very next morning, Thursday. Excellent service. Very nice technician.
