SYRACUSE — Police in Syracuse are investigating a drive-by shooting that sent a 27-year-old man to the hospital.
Police said Anthony Hopper, of Syracuse, was shot in the leg and hand shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday.
Mr. Hopper was taken to Upstate University Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Hopper told officers he was walking with three other men when he heard six shots and felt pain in his leg.
Witnesses said the shots came from an older model black Jeep Cherokee.
