AGGRAVATED DWI - WADDINGTON - Massena-based state police charged Allan J. Martin, 47, of Chase Mills with aggravated driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps at 10:35 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Rookey Road in the town of Waddington. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent. A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent is considered proof of intoxication in the state. The charge is elevated to an aggravated DWI count when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.

DWI - MADRID - Massena-based state police charged Heather L. Richardson, 49, of Madrid with driving while intoxicated and ticketed her for unsafe passing on the left and making an unsafe turn at 6:36 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on County Route 44 in the town of Madrid. She reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.10 percent. A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent is considered proof of intoxication in the state.

DWI - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Lloyd J. Wood, 49, of Massena with driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test and ticketed him for an equipment violation - inadequate lights at 10:13 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Route 37 in the town of Massena.

TWO INJURED - FINE - Gouverneur-based state police said two people were injured in an accident at 3:12 p.m. Saturday on state Route 3, near County Route 61, in the town of Fine. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Jordan K. Fernandes, 33, of Potsdam.
