Sandy Creek man accused of violating order of protection with text messages

BROWNVILLE — State police charged a Sandy Creek resident after he allegedly violated an order of protection.

Police said Jefferson A. Mahon, 41, of 2066 Harwood Drive, violated the order by sending text messages to his estranged wife.

Charged at 11:02 a.m. Tuesday in the town of Brownville, Mr. Mahon was held and later released on $300 bail, and is to appear in Town Court.
