Iroquois Auctions Antique Appraisal at the Remington Museum

Iroquois Auctions will be hosting a charity antique auction fair at the Frederic Remington Art Museum on August 23 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Gerald Petro will appraise single items for $5 each at the Museum. For $200, Gerald Petro will give a walk-through verbal appraisal in a home, with all proceeds to benefit the museum. When selling high value items, people are asked to call 561-9777 for consultation.

Petro has worked as an appraiser for 40 years. For additional information, contact the museum at 393-2425.

The Frederic Remington Art Museum is located at 303 Washington Street. The Museum is dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, preserving and interpreting the art and archives of Frederic Remington, and contains an unmatched collection of his works. The Museum is open October 15 through May 15, Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. and May 16 until October 14, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
