LOUISVILLE — State police on Sunday charged Kali M. Sharlow, 19, of 202 County Route 48, Norwood, and Jarrod J. Parent, 16, of Route 37B, Massena, with petit larceny.
Troopers allege that at 7:50 p.m. Friday at 259 County Route 43, Lot 58, Ms. Sharlow and Mr. Parent stole an Xbox 360 with one corded joystick and four games, belonging to Anne M. Jones, 45, of that address.
They also allegedly stole a hair straightener and five WIC checks and a WIC identification card belonging to Hillary A. Deforge, 20, also of that address.
Troopers said the items have not yet been recovered and the investigation continues. They said the arrests were made at 9:09 p.m. Sunday at the St. Lawrence Centre mall, Massena.
On Monday, Canton village police charged Mr. Parent with misdemeanor third-degree attempted assault. They allege that at 12:25 p.m. outside of the Department of Social Services building at 6 Judson St., Canton, he struck his girlfriend, Ms. Sharlow, in the face several times.
