WATERTOWN — City police charged Chevalier D. Brown, 30, of 608 Gotham St., Apt. 2., with second-degree harassment and menacing and fourth-degree possession of a weapon after he allegedly threatened a woman with a knife.
Police said Mr. Brown held a folding kinfe with a 6-inch blade to the neck of Jasmine O. Davis, same address, and told her he was going to slice her throat during an incident in a parking lot on the 600 block of Pearl Street. Police said they later found a 24-inch billy club in his car.
Charged at 9 p.m. Wednesday on the 500 block of Factory Street, Mr. Brown was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in City Court.
