WATERTOWN — City police charged Darcel S. Summers, 30, of 229 St. Mary St., with multiple offenses after she allegedly stabbed a man at their shared residence around noon Sunday.
Police said Ms. Summers brandished an 8-inch kitchen knife, climbed on top of Kareem L. Glyph and pushed the tip of the knife at him, causing three small puncture marks on his neck.
She also allegedly punched and scratched Mr. Glyph’s face several times during the alleged attack.
Police said she later fought off officers, telling them they could not arrest her.
She was charged at 5:04 p.m. Sunday with second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, menacing and harassment, along with fourth-degree possession of a weapon and resisting arrest.
She was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending an appearance in City Court.
