POTSDAM — New Hope Transformation House Ministries will be passing out a survey at the Potsdam Summer Festival Thursday through Saturday to gather and spread information on addiction in the north country.
Transformation House is in the process of trying to secure grant funding for a supportive-living arrangement for women with addiction problems who have been through a rehabilitation program.
John K. Ault, board member of New Hope Transformation House Ministries, said the survey will provide “feedback from the community about the impact of addiction in the north country.”
He also said the survey will educate people on what addiction is and what “Christian solution” is available to them and offer assistance for people.
Mr. Ault said the organization also wants to spread the word on its “desire to establish a halfway house for homeless women wanting to recover from addictions in a clean environment.”
