Motorists accused of DWI, related offenses

The following motorists are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

Amber R. Gordon, 27, Potsdam, was charged by Potsdam village police with aggravated DWI early Saturday after allegedly being seen speeding and making an illegal U-turn.

Police said Ms. Gordon was drinking alcohol inside the vehicle and her blood alcohol content was 0.21 percent.

Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher constitutes proof of intoxication. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher.

Samantha J. White, 36, of Bergen, was charged by Watertown city police at 12:03 a.m. Sunday after being spotted with equipment issues on her vehicle, police said. Her BAC was 0.11 percent, they said.

Sarah E. Sullivan, 18, Rochester, was charged by state police at 1:46 a.m. Saturday on Route 12, Alexandria, after police said her car was found off the road in a ditch.

Her BAC was 0.12 percent, they said.

Alvonte J. Wade, 40, of 25356 Virginia Smith Drive, Apt. 4, Calcium, was charged by state police at 2:16 a.m. Sunday after stopping across double lines on Route 283, police said. His BAC was 0.11 percent, they said.

Brittany L. Schroy, 25, of 4825 Zecher Road, Carthage, was charged at 1:51 a.m. Saturday on the 5500 block of Greig Road, Greig. State police said they encountered her after pursuing a suspicious vehicle parked at the Greig Store, which was closed at the time. Her BAC was 0.15 percent, they said.
