SOUTH COLTON - Dow Electric pulled away to a 5-1 decision over Brasher Falls in a North Country Women’s Summer Soccer matchup on Tuesday at Swift Field.

Andrea Aldous anchored the winning offense with a pair of goals while Brooke Enslow, Michaela Cole and Kari Tremper netted singletons.

Grace Lyons broke through for the only Brasher Falls goal.

Steph Collins turned aside two shots backstopping the win while Leeanne Sriedel made 10 saves in the losing cause.

Other games reported on Tuesday saw North Country Collision of Potsdam beat Madrid-Waddington 3-0, FC Freeze edged Edwards-Knox 1-0 and Heuvelton blank Harrisville 2-0.

North Country Collision 3, M-W 0: Amanda Sergi netted a pair of goals and Katrina DiNardo scored the other while Jenny Tardelli handled the eight shots she faced goaltending the shutout.

Freeze 1, E-K 0: Emily Sloan scored 27 minutes into the second half for the only goal of the game to lift Corning to the win.

Brooke Dewyea worked the crease for the shutout.

Heuvelton 2, Harrisville 0: Shannon Ferguson and Lexi Weidner scored in the winning effort.
