MASSENA — Three people are in jail and three others are facing drug charges after village and state police said they responded to a 7:30 p.m. call Saturday for an attempted break-in at 2224 Route 420.
Rachel E. Riley, 23, of Massena, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic needle.
Chad S. Wickwire, 29, of Norfolk; Eli G. Snyder, 58, of Massena; Shari K. Caza, 51, of Massena; Elizabeth K. Wickwire, 26, of Massena, and Derek Sessions, 23, of Norfolk, each were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police said more information was unavailable because the investigation is ongoing.
Mr. Wickwire, Mr. Sessions and Ms. Riley are all being held at St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $1,000 bail each, according to state police.
Ms. Wickwire, Mr. Snyder and Ms. Caza were issued appearance tickets. All six suspects are scheduled to appear in Town Court at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
