EVANS MILLS — A village resident was charged by state police with second-degree menacing after he allegedly brandished a firearm during a confrontation with a code enforcement officer.

Police said Reid A. Bohner, 26, of 8547 S. Main St., displayed a double-barreled shotgun as the officer took photos of his house, telling him to leave.

Police confirmed Mr. Bohner’s identity by looking at the code enforcement officer’s photos.

Charged at 9:58 a.m. Wednesday on Route 37, Pamelia, Mr. Bohner was given an appearance ticket for LeRay Town Court.
