BROWNVILLE — Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies charged Michael T. Sullivan, 60, of 22869 County Route 59, Dexter, with driving while intoxicated on Tuesday morning.

Deputies said they were called to County Route 59 in Watertown after a call from medical crews for a man having a panic attack. Deputies determined Mr. Sullivan was impaired after speaking with him. His blood alcohol content was listed as 0.16 percent.

Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher is considered proof of intoxication.

Charged at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday, he was later released with an appearance ticket for town of Brownville Court.
