LISBON A Lisbon couple is in jail following a drug bust conducted Friday by St. Lawrence County Sheriffs Office Drug Task Force detectives.
Nicole M. Steinburg, 31, and Brian J. OMarah, 31, of 6916 County Route 10, were charged with third-degree manufacturing methamphetamine, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a hypodermic needle.
Investigators said the investigation began as a warrant of eviction but evolved into a search warrant.
Detectives assisted by the Sheriffs Civil Division, the Ogdensburg Police Departments Narcotics Enforcement Unit, the New York State Police Narcotics Unit and the Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team said they found meth lab components at the residence.
According to investigators, the couple also was in possession of more than 30 plastic totes that were reported stolen from the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Ogdensburg.
Ms. Steinburg and Mr. OMarah are being held at the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond.
Detectives said more arrests are expected during the ongoing investigation.
