DEXTER — A Dexter man was charged by state police after allegedly buying items stolen from a residence in Pamelia.

Dwayne D. Meeks, 32, of 329 West Kirby St., allegedly purchased goods from Brandon M. Roach, 20, and Christopher L. Barkley, 23, both of 10292 County Route 77, Adams, despite knowing the items were stolen.

The Adams men were charged by state police May 14 in connection to the theft of more than $5,000 worth of tools and antiques from 22320 Brown Road on May 4.

Mr. Meeks was charged at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday with fifth-degree possession of stolen property. He was released with an appearance ticket for Pamelia Town Court.
