SOUTH COLTON — Eve Whalen and Morgan Burns each went 3-for-4 to lead the Colton-Pierrepont softball team to a 17-7 win over Madrid-Waddington in a Northern Athletic Conference East Division game Friday.

Morgan Doyle picked up two hits, including a home run, for the Colts (7-3 overall and division). Kathryn Miller and Hannah Hogle each lined two hits.

Blake Orosz went 3-for-4, including a triple, to lead Madrid-Waddington (2-5). Mariah Patenaude went 2-for-4, including a home run.

ST. LAWRENCE 13, NORWOOD-NORFOLK 1

Lindsey Thayer struck out 14 and doubled twice to lead St. Lawrence Central past the Flyers (7-4, 6-4) in an East Division game in Norwood.

Chelsea Savage and Hailey Weegar each tallied three hits for the Larries (10-0, 8-0). Hailey Agans and Bailey Gauthier both singled twice.

CHATEAUGAY 13, ST. REGIS FALLS 6

Brianna Cook hit a grand slam to help Chateaugay defeat the Saints (1-7) in an East Division game in St. Regis Falls.

Madison Breen picked up three hits for the Bulldogs (5-4, 5-3) and Alicia Cook added two hits. Kerrigan Rondeau homered and singled twice for the Saints.

MORRISTOWN 9, EDWARDS-KNOX 2

Sam Green and Liz Troiano each produced three hits to lead the Green Rockest past Edwards-Knox (5-3) in a West Division contest in Morristown.

Taylor Piercey, Jessica Geddes, Haley Whitmarsh and Macalla Roberts all singled twice for Morristown (5-5).

HARRISVILLE 19, HERMON-DEKALB 17

Emory Matott was the winning pitcher and lined three hits as Harrisville (2-10, 2-8) defeated the Demons in a West Division game in DeKalb Junction.

Ema Harper, Sara Campbell and Charli Fowler each picked up two hits for Harrisville. Delaney Kerr doubled twice for the Demons (3-6, 3-4).

LISBON 15, CLIFTON-FINE 0

Sierra Ashley threw a one-hitter, striking out seven, to lead the Golden Knights past Clifton-Fine (0-8) in a West Division game in Lisbon.

Ashley also picked up three hits for the Golden Knights (6-3). Hannah Beebie singled twice for the Golden Knights.

OFA 6, CANTON 4

Adriana Compo stroked three hits to lead the Blue Devils (5-2) past Canton in a Central Division game in Ogdensburg.

Riley Lucki and Madi Bresett singled twice for OFA.

Kalie Frank singled twice for Canton (2-4).

GOUVERNEUR 12, SALMON RIVER 2

Danielle Bullock went 4-for-4, including two doubles, to lead Gouverneur past the Shamrocks (3-6) in a Central Division game in Fort Covington.

Katie Andrews and Brooke Shattuck each lined two hits for the Wildcats (2-3).

BASEBALL

NORWOOD-NORFOLK 9, ST. LAWRENCE 3

Tristen Harvey struck out seven to lead the Norwood-Norfolk baseball team to victory over St. Lawrence Central (4-4) in a Northern Athletic Conference East Division game Friday.

Kyler MacIntire went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs to lead the Flyers (6-2) on offense. Hadyn St. Hilaire and Coby Munson also drove in two runs with hits.

BRUSHTON-MOIRA 7, MADRID-WADDINGTON 3

Adam Martin picked up two hits and gave up only one to lead the Panthers past Madrid-Waddington (5-1) in an East Division game in Brushton.

Jon Kennedy went 3-for-3 for Brushton-Moira (6-1). Alex Burnett, Bryan Aubrey and Austin Tavernia each picked up two hits for the Panthers.

ST. REGIS FALLS 12, CHATEAUGAY 4

Jason Cumming struck out 15 to lead the Saints past Chateaugay (1-7) in an East Division game in St. Regis Falls.

Ryan Duquette led the offense, going 4-for-4 for the Saints (1-7), including a double and triple. Louis Goodrow, Corey LaBounty, Trystin Harrison and Jesse Goodrow each tallied two hits.

EDWARDS-KNOX 23, MORRISTOWN 17

Kaden Dandrow picked up four hits to lead Edwards-Knox past the Green Rockets (5-4) in a West Division contest in Morristown.

Jordan Davis and Jeremiah Randall each produced three hits for the Cougars (3-4) and Derek Clarke, Trent White and Austin Shatraw added two.

Luke King homered twice for Morristown and Jan Love also hit a home run. Zack Kanalay lined three hits.

LISBON 19, CLIFTON-FINE 3

Donnie Duprey and Alex Arduine each stroked three hits to send the Golden Knights past Clifton-Fine (2-6) in a West Division game in Lisbon.

Joey Pellerin struck out eight for the Golden Knights (3-5). Mike Rust lined two hits for the Eagles.

OFA 3, CANTON 1

Seth Pinkerton struck out 12 to lead Ogdensburg Free Academy past the Golden Bears (1-5) in a Central Division game in Canton.

Pinkerton also had one of the three hits for the Blue Devils (5-2).

SALMON RIVER 10, GOUVERNEUR 9

Jordan Wood drove in Cole Lage with the winning run as the Shamrocks edged Gouverneur (0-6) in a Central Division game in Fort Covington.

Wood, Lage, Zach Smith, Justin Bigness and Brandon Bryington each picked up two hits for Salmon River (1-7).

PERU 14, MALONE 8

The Indians (6-4) scored 11 times in the bottom of the first to defeat Malone in a nonleague game in Peru.

Alex Johnson lined two hits for the Huskies (5-2). Ian Spear homered for Peru and Andy Kneussel and Jonathan Plasis-Belair each picked up three hits.

GIRLS LACROSSE

HEUVELTON 12, SALMON RIVER 1

Jackie Sovie scored four goals and assisted on two more to lead the Heuvelton over Salmon River (2-7) in an NAC game.

Olivia St. Pierre scored three goals and Maddie St. Pierre added two goals for the Bulldogs (7-6, 6-4). Kylie Piercey, Corine Sherwood and Sydney Mee also scored for Heuvelton.

OFA 18, SARANAC LAKE 6

Sky Hoover and Mackenzie Bresett each tallied four goals as Ogdensburg Free Academy defeated the Red Storm (2-6) in Saranac Lake. Hunter Shaver scored three goals for the Blue Devils (3-8, 2-6). Courtney Sherwin and Janelle LaRue both scored two goals and Kelsi Donaldson, Danielle Guimond and Kiana Zulauf also scored. Macey Fisher scored four goals for the Red Storm.

INDIAN RIVER 10, POTSDAM 9 (2 OT)

Sarah Mattingly scored the winning goal with 53 seconds remaining in the second overtime to lift the Warriors to a nonleague victory at Philadelphia.

Kelsi Nabywaniec finished with four goals and one assist, and Brynn LaFave supplied three goals and one assist. Rebecca Monica made nine saves for Indian River (5-7).

Kalie Grant recorded four goals and one assist for Potsdam (2-9).

BOYS LACROSSE

SALMON RIVER 14, POTSDAM 1

Skkylar Thomas and Frank David both scored three goals as the Shamrocks (10-0, 9-0) routed Potsdam in Fort Covington.

Skye Sunday scored twice and Blaze White, Kason Tarbell, Alan Jacobs, Trenton Tarbell, Bryton Burns and Iothore Lazore also scored.

Max Warden scored for Potsdam (2-9).

MASSENA 18, COLTOn-PIERREPONT 2

Five goals from Kendrick Angus led Massena (8-4, 8-2) past the Colts in South Colton.

Cole Allen scored three times and Ross Driscoll added two goals for Massena.

Nick Henrie, Rhoades Tarbell, Ryan Thomas, Dalton Mullin, Sako Rourke and Kyren Sunday each added single goals. Ethan Knight scored both goals for the Colts (0-11).

OFA 9, SARANAC LAKE 8

Dave Prudhomme scored three times, including the game-winner, to lead OFA past the Red Storm (2-6) in Saranac Lake.

Taylor Richarson also scored three goals for OFA (4-6, 4-5). Austin Morley-Sloan scored two goals and Andrew Roddy also scored for the Blue Devils.
