The Norwood-Norfolk Central varsity boys track team suffered its first loss while Massena Central picked up its first win as both squads posted splits in NAC tri-meets staged on Thursday.
MEET AT MALONE
In Malone, the Flyers posted a 155-63 decision over Tupper Lake but fell to host Franklin Academy 145.5-94.5 to slip to 4-1 on the season.
Posting individual wins for N-N were; Connor Levison in the 400 hurdles with a time of 50.6 seconds, Kyle Fulk in the 3,200 with a time of 10:36.8 and Zach Gibson in the discus at 10611. Levison also combined with Travis Hall, Tyler Hardy and Dion Aumell to pace the 1,600 relay in 3:51.
MEET AT MASSENA
At Massena Central, the host Raiders downed Salmon River 122.5-89.5 but came up short to Canton 148.5-86.5.
Junior Andrew Brush anchored the Massena scoring with wins in the 100 (12.5 seconds) and the Long jump (1917.5). Brandon Fennell led the 400 in 58.4 seconds.
For Salmon River, Jordan Bigness paced the 3,200 in 12:10.3 after placing second in the 1,600 while Antoine Domino won the 200 meters in 26.5 seconds and placed second in both the long jump and 100.
