AGGRAVATED DWI - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Travis S. Cota, 32, of Lisbon with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a property damage accident at 10 p.m. Monday on Pray Road in the town of Lisbon.
Troopers said Cotas 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier went off the north shoulder of the road and struck an earth embankment.
Cota reportedly had blood alcohol content of0.20 percent. ADWI charge is elevated to the more serious aggravated DWI offense when the blood alcohol content is0.18 percent or greater.
He was also ticketed for failure to keep right, texting while driving, failure to notify DMV of a change of address and no hands on steering wheel.
FORCIBLE TOUCHING - MORRISTOWN - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Benjamin E. Vandamme, 28, of Brier Hill withforcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child Tuesday following an investigation into an incident that was reported at 4:37 p.m. April 18 from the town of Morristown.
Troopers said the charges allege Vandamme inappropriately touched a 12-year-old victims private parts.
Vandamme was issued an appearance ticket for the town of Morristown Court.
MISSING CHILD - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged a 14-year-old male with a violation of the Family Court Act at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday on Sycamore Street at Liberty Avenue. The charge stemmed from a missing person complaint filed with troopers shortly before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
