Village police charged William R. Stevens, 42, Park Avenue, with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Village Court and sent to Lewis County jail, with bail set at $2,000 cash or $4,000 bond.
Mr. Stevens was accused of, on March 29, displaying a knife and threatening another person with it. Police did not identify the alleged victim.
