THERESA — A village resident was charged by state police after he allegedly forged documents in connection with a car sale.

State police said Rush F. Reynolds, 29, of 26415 Route 411, forged the signature on a Department of Motor Vehicles affidavit for the sale of a vehicle.

He was charged with second-degree possession of a forged instrument at 9:11 p.m. Friday in the 36000-block of County Route 46, Theresa, and released with an appearance ticket for Town Court.
