CALCIUM About 15 residents of Lakes Trailer Park, Route 11, were evacuated around 11 a.m. Friday after a gas line was damaged.
Calcium Fire Chief Timothy A. Newman said employees of the complex hit the line while digging in the parking lot.
He said residents were evacuated from about eight trailers and were staying at the fire hall on County Route 138. There were no injuries, he said.
There are about 70 trailers at the park.
National Grid spokeswoman Karen Young said utility crews were at the scene soon after the damage was reported and stopped the leak and made the necessary repairs.
She said a crew began going door to door at 5:30 p.m. to restore gas service for appliances.
The work will get done as soon as the residents let them in, she said. Theyll be there until its all back, she said.
