CELL PHONE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Jaclyn M. Skeweris, 24, of Oakland County, Md., for driving while using mobile phone at 10:20a.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Maple Street.



FAILURE TO YIELD - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Trevor J. Jerome, 18, of Potsdam for failureto yield right of way while entering roadway at 2:28p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Leroy Street. Police said they observed Jerome pull out of the high school parking lot on Leroy Street, failing to yield the right of way.



LEAVING THE SCENE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Laura E. Brohm, 21, of Warwick for leaving the scene of a property damage accident at 1:52p.m. Friday following an incident on Bay Street. Police said Brohm struck a parked vehicle on Bay Street and then left the scene. Damage to both vehicles was minor, police said.



SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Colin S. Reardon, 22, of Potsdam for speed in zone (42/30) at 2:53p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Lawrence Avenue.



FAKE ID - POTSDAM - Village police charged Danielle M. Mount, 18, of Stony Brook with attempting to purchase alcohol by fraudulent means and possession of a fictitious license at 8:39 p.m. Friday following an incident at CJ’s at the SeaComm Plaza. Police said Mount attempted to purchase alcohol with a fictitious license.



FAILURE TO YIELD - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Kelsey A. Reals, 20, of Jamesville for failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk at 8:48 p.m. Friday on Main Street.



INADEQUATE PLATE LAMPS - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Travis J. Charleson, 29, of Parishville for operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps at 9:21 p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Main Street.



INADEQUATE PLATE LAMPS - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Cyril P. Hebert, 32, of Parishville for operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps at 9:50p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Elm Street.
