DEXTER After being stopped for an insufficient turn signal infraction and operating erratically, Raymond J. Filley, 25, of 16838 Evans Road, was charged by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies with driving while intoxicated.
He was stopped driving a 1995 Ford on Jericho Road shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday. According to deputies, Mr. Filley said he had consumed four draft beers. A breath test issued at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building about 2 a.m. determined his blood alcohol content to be 0.17 percent. Under state law a BAC of 0.08 percent or more constitutes proof of intoxication.
He was charged with DWI and the traffic infractions and will answer the charges in Hounsfield Town Court.
