RUTLAND, Vt. — Joelle Percy scored 21 points, including four 3-pointers, as the SUNY Canton women’s basketball team defeated the College of St. Joseph, 67-51, for the second straight game on Sunday afternoon.

Karyss Terrance posted a double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds and Brianna Sayer added 16 points for the Kangaroos (5-13), who have won three consecutive games.

Chontayvia Kennedy led all scorers with 26 points for the Fighting Saints (7-9).

n The College of St. Joseph men’s basketball team used a late first-half run and beat SUNY Canton, 89-72, Sunday afternoon in Rutland, Vt.

Dre Anderson scored 24 points and Michael Bowlers chipped with 23 points for the Fighting Saints (11-12), which used a 10-0 run at the end of the first half to pull away.

Khalid Vaughn came off the bench and supplied 18 points for SUNY Canton (5-12).
