Published: Dr. Mark D. Irwin, pictured at right, Jefferson Community College, Watertown, zoo technology program director and associate professor of biology, has coauthored his first published textbook, “Zookeeping.” The book, endorsed by the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums, will be used in classrooms and zoos around the world. Dr. Irwin has taught at JCC since 2002 and holds a doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Guelph, Ontario.
