DEKALB JUNCTION — Hunter Hitchman scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds along with five steals and four assists, leading the Hermon-DeKalb girls basketball team to a 75-34 win over Edwards-Knox in an Northern Athletic Conference West Division game on Thursday.

Courtney Harrington scored 15 points for the Demons (10-1 overall, 8-0 division), and Morgan Stott added 12 points and eight assists. Chelsey MacKay scored 11 points.

Jadilynn Bullock led the Cougars (2-7, 1-6) with 12 points.

HEUVELTON 64, MORRISTOWN 30

Heuvelton built an early 24-3 lead to pick up a win over the Green Rockets (2-7, 1-5) in a West Division contest in Morristown.

Paige McCormick scored 23 points to lead the Bulldogs (10-1, 6-1).

Sam Green led Morristown with seven points.

HAMMOND 66, HARRISVILLE 25

Mikayla Horton tallied 18 points to lead Hammond past the Pirates (2-8, 1-7) in a West Division game in Harrisville.

Cassi Whalen scored 17 points, Paige Frisina tallied 12 and Courtney Bova added 10 for Hammond (7-5, 6-2).

MADRID-WADDINGTON 64, ST. REGIS FALLS 34

Kennedy Murray scored 14 points as Madrid-Waddington (10-2, 8-0) knocked off the Saints in an East Division game in St. Regis Falls.

Hannah Marcellus tallied 13 points and Jen King tossed in 10 for Madrid-Waddington.

Jenna Susice paced the Saints (3-6) with 16 points.

BRUSHTON-MOIRA 46, TUPPER LAKE 23

A 13-point effort from Arielle Gary led the Panthers (7-4, 7-3) past Tupper Lake in an East Division contest in Brushton.

Lindsey Maroun scored eight points for the Lumberjacks (3-10, 2-8).

CANTON 54, MASSENA 39

Tori Daley’s 16 points helped Canton defeat the Red Raiders (4-8, 3-5) in a Central Division game in Massena.

Kali Frank scored 15 points and added five steals and six rebounds for Canton (11-3, 9-2).

Samantha Villnave led Massena with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

OFA 64, GOUVERNEUR 41

Riley Luckie scored 19 points as Ogdensburg Free Academy defeated the Wildcats (4-9, 1-8) in a Central Division game in Gouverneur.

Meg Dodge added 17 points for OFA (8-5, 6-3).

Rebecca Bulsiewicz led Gouverneur with an 11-point effort.

ST. LAWRENCE 57, POTSDAM 47

Lindsey Thayer tallied 21 points to send the Larries past Potsdam (1-12, 0-10) in a Central Division game in Brasher Falls.

Bailee Gauthier added 15 points for the Larries (7-5, 4-4). Bree Sapp led Potsdam with 13 points and Sarah Vivlamore added 12.

WRESTLING

MASSENA 37, OFA 36

Massena (9-2, 5-1) claimed a win over the Blue Devils in Ogdensburg because it had the edge in pins, 4-3. The teams wrestled to a 36-36 tie.

Hunter Perrine (172 pounds), Jeremy Malone (195), Dakota Bernard (220) and Alec Denny (126) won by pin for Massena.

OFA (5-5, 2-3) received pins from Bailey Phelps (152), Zach Roberts (106) and Brody Sheppard (120).
