Ryan Petell blocked 15 shots and Rudy Binion passed out 10 assists and keyed an early break-away at either ends of transition as the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club downed Bangor 67-39 on Sunday to retain its share of the Franklin CYO Basketball League lead.

The locals opened a 50-19 lead at the half and Binion tallied three threes in scoring 22 points, Jordan Miller and Spencer Mayette each scored 10 points and Petell finished with eight.

Dominic Molinari added six points followed by Max Ahrens and Jed McRoberts with three and Dylan LaFleur with two.

Johal scored a game-high 24 points for Bangor followed by Childs with seven, Skeldon with five and Woods with three.

The preliminary game provided the drama of the day as the Bangor Bs posted a 33-31 victory led by six fourth quarter points from Dylan Skeldon (8 points). Tyler Preve led the winners with nine points, Nate Suave scored eight, Brendan Soulia and Anthony Lamica each hit three-pointers and Brenden Marshall added a field goal.

Zade Lesperance’s eight points led the OBGC and Zach Worden netted six. Joe McRoberts, Zach Ashley and Chris Tomford added four points and Max Ahrens chipped in two.
