The following are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
n Alexander C. Hoimes, 24, of San Francisco, Calif., was charged Monday by Canton village police with aggravated DWI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and driving across a sidewalk.
Police allege that, at 12:55 a.m., Mr. Hoimes was doing doughnuts in a St. Lawrence University parking lot and struck a street sign. Police didnt have the location of the sign, but they allege the vehicle had scratches and green paint consistent with the property damage. His blood alcohol content was listed as 0.19 percent. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher.
n Jason J. Marquez Sr., 30, of 310 Tilden St., was charged by Watertown police at 3:07 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Lillian Street.
His blood alcohol content was 0.13 percent, police said. He also was cited with failure to keep right.
n Ryan M. Brewer, 25, Russell, was charged Sunday by Potsdam village police. He also was issued additional traffic tickets.
Police said that, at 2:26 a.m., they found Mr. Brewer to have a BAC of 0.14 percent during a traffic stop on Lawrence Avenue for allegedly failing to turn as required at the intersection of Raymond and Market streets and speeding.
n Charles A. Eiss, 55, of 7479 Martin Road, Adams, was charged at 3:38 p.m. Sunday by state police with felony DWI and aggravated DWI on County Route 85 in the town of Ellisburg.
State police said he had two previous DWI convictions within the past 10 years, but had no other information available. His BAC also was not available.
