COLCHESTER, Vt. — Gabriella Marchetti, Alanna Blackburn and Nicole Jewett each won two events as the St. Lawrence women’s swimming and diving team gained a 139-84 nonconference victory over St. Michael’s on Sunday.

Marchetti took first in the 200-yard butterfly and 1,000 freestyle, while Blackburn placed first in the 50 and 100 freestyle races for the Saints (5-1). Nicole Jewett swept both 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.

Lindsay McNall won the 200 backstroke and individual medley and was a part two winning relay teams for the Purple Knights (3-4).

MEN’S SWIMMING

ST. MICHAEL’S 116, ST. LAWRENCE 112

The Purple Knights took the 400 relay as they rallied from 19 points down with six events to go to beat the Saints in a nonconference meet at Colchester, Vt.

Nathan Paluso won the 200-yard breaststroke and 1,000 freestyle for St. Michael’s (2-5).

Grant Reeder and Kirby Kaylor each won a pair of events for St. Lawrence (0-6).

MEN’S BASKETBALL

CLINTON CC 73, JEFFERSON CC 67

Mykelle Krecko registered 20 points, 15 rebounds and eight blocks as the Cougars rallied for a nonconference win over the host Cannoneers.

Kyree Hull added 14 points for Clinton Community College (15-3), which trailed 36-31 at halftime.

Dustin Pond scored 19 points to pace Jefferson Community College (5-11).

WOMEN’S HOCKEY

SUNY POTSDAM 4, NEUMANN 4 (OT)

Jordan Ott scored a natural hat trick as the Bears claimed an ECAC West tie with the Knights in Ashton Township, Pa.

Jessica Silveira supplied the other goal for SUNY Potsdam (7-6-3, 3-3-3).

Megan Russelo tied the game with 7:09 left in regulation for Neumann (3-10-1, 1-6-1).
