Watertown police charged Letterio B. Pettway, 25, of 1111 State St., Apt. K8, with second-degree menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 12:38 a.m. Sunday at 120 Bishop St.
He is accused of threatening Danielle N. Champion, 1111 State St., Apt. 301, with a kitchen knife, saying I will stab you in front of her two daughters, according to police.
He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 bail Sunday afternoon.
