■ NEWTON FALLS — The town of Clifton assessor will be in the Newton Falls office from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today, next Saturday and Jan. 25.

n The Watertown City School District will receive nearly $108,000 through a New York state school aid package, according to the office of state Sen. Patricia A. Ritchie, R-Heuvelton.

n CANTON — The Operations Committee of the St. Lawrence County Board of Legislators will vote Monday on an annual salary of $61,146 for Michael J. LeCuyer, who was previously appointed emergency services director. Mr. LeCuyer is scheduled to begin work Feb. 3.

n WCNY’s new deadline for its second annual “Women Who Make America Awards” is Jan. 24. Women ages 18 and up in 19 counties, including Jefferson and Lewis, are honored for impacting their community. For more information, visit www.wcny.org/makers.
