ST. REGIS FALLS — Brandon Votra scored 15 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the St. Regis Falls boys basketball team to a 50-41 win over Madrid-Waddington in an Northern Athletic Conference East Division game on Thursday.

The Saints (5-0 overall, 3-0 division) used a 19-6 run in the second quarter to take control of the game.

Corey LaBounty scored 12 points and Louis Goodrow tossed in 10 for the Saints.

Maurice Rease led Madrid-Waddington (2-2, 2-1) with 13 points and Zach Brock tallied 10.

EDWARDS-KNOX 50, HERMON-DEKALB 48

Kaden Dandrow made a jump shot from the free-throw line with 2.4 seconds left in the game to lead Edwards-Knox (2-2, 2-1) past the Demons in a West Division game at DeKalb Junction.

Dandrow finished with 32 points for the Cougars.

Cody Merritt led the Demons (0-3) with 25 points and eight rebounds.

MORRISTOWN 48, HEUVELTON 36

Jake VanArnam scored 15 points to help the Green Rockets (2-1) defeat Heuvelton in a West Division contest in Morristown.

Jacob Fox scored 14 points and Zach Kanaly added 11 for Morristown. Casey Smith produced 11 points for the Bulldogs (2-2, 1-1).

POTSDAM 62, ST. LAWRENCE 37

Brian Cole scored 11 points as Potsdam (3-0) knocked off the Larries in a Central Division game in Brasher Falls.

Nick Vaccaro added 10 points for the Sandstoners. Josh White paced the Larries (0-3) with 21 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

LISBON 57, EDWARDS-KNOX 51

A 21-point effort from Jackie Sovie helped Lisbon (2-2, 1-1) knock off the Cougars in a West Division game in Russell.

Beth Crowley added 12 points for Lisbon.

Arael Scott led the Cougars (1-4, 1-3) with 20 points.

HOCKEY

OFA 2, TUPPER LAKE 0

Dave Prudhomme finished with 18 saves as the Blue Devils shut out Tupper Lake (0-4, 0-3) in an interdivision game in Ogdensburg.

Jared Barr and Mark Morrow scored goals in the first five minutes to pace OFA (3-3, 2-2).

WRESTLING

MASSENA 40, OFA 35

Dakota Bernard (220 pounds), Nolan Terrance (285) and Austin Amo (145) won by pin to help the Red Raiders (2-0) edge OFA in a Northern Athletic Conference meet in Massena.

The Blue Devils (1-1) received pins from Nathan Murdock (170), Alex Cole (182), Cordell David (99) and Josh Wangler (138).
