LORRAINE A methamphetamine lab was discovered in a County Route 92 home in the town of Lorraine after Jefferson County sheriffs deputies responded to a domestic dispute call there earlier this week.
During the course of the investigation into the domestic incident Monday, deputies said, they discovered the clandestine meth lab. A search warrant was issued Thursday, resulting in the arrest of Francis J. Conklin III, 36, of 3358 County Route 92, according to the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force.
He was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a Class D felony.
Mr. Conklin was arraigned in Ellisburg Town Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, Watertown, in lieu of $20,000 bail.
