Copenhagen’s Claire Stackel and Chateaugay’s Hannah Cook have been selected to the Class D all-state girls soccer first team.

Stackel, a sophomore midfielder who was the Times All-North Section 3 MVP, led Section 3 in goals (48), assists (28) and points (124) in helping lead the Golden Knights to the Section 3 finals.

Cook, a two-time Times All-North Northern Athletic Conference MVP, finished with 22 goals and 16 assists this past season for the Bulldogs.

Stackel’s teammate, sophomore midfielder Emma Roberts, was named to the Class D second team along with Chateaugay senior defender Abbey Barnes and Lisbon senior goalie Jackie Sovie.

Heuvelton senior attacker Alexis Weidner made the third team in Class B, and Parishville-Hopkinton senior midfielder Kodie Perkins is on the fourth team.

The only other area all-state choices were St. Lawrence Central senior midfielder Lindsay Thayer (Class C third team) and Potsdam senior attacker Annette Rishe (Class B fourth team).
