FORT DRUM — Three civilian workers were taken to hospitals for treatment after a carbon monoxide leak at Fort Drum.

The leak happened about 1:30 p.m. at the post’s Ammunition Supply Point and Surveillance Building near the training ranges east of Route 26.

Post spokeswoman Julie A. Cupernall said that two of the workers were taken to Samaritan Medical Center, and the third was taken to Carthage Area Hospital. Their condition was considered non-life-threatening. She said the cause of the leak was under investigation.
