COPENHAGEN — Lewis County General Hospital will continue to operate its health clinic here on a limited basis, despite the loss of the regular physician.

Family practitioner Dr. Daniel P. Pisaniello will begin providing office hours at the Copenhagen Health Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 4 and 11. Blood draws also will be available by appointment from 8 to 9 a.m.

“After December, the plan is to provide office hours on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month until we are able to recruit a physician for the Copenhagen Health Center,” said Dr. Pisaniello, who generally works out of the hospital’s South Lewis clinic in Lyons Falls.

For more information or to set up a lab draw appointment, call the Copenhagen Health Center at 688-2305.

Dr. R. Brian Shambo, who has served at the High Street clinic for many years, has moved his practice to the new Lowville Medical Associates building, formerly the village municipal building, on Dayan Street in Lowville.
