GRAND LARCENY - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Kimberley A. St. Louis, 32, of Massena with fourth-degree grand larceny and endangering the welfare of a child after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 7:10 p.m. Monday at the St. Lawrence Centre mall. The grand larceny count means the merchandise was valued at over $1,000.

According to troopers, St. Louis stole property valued at $1,049.50 from Sears while in the presence of her 14-year-old daughter. They said St. Louis placed stolen merchandise in a diaper bag and baby stroller that was occupied by two infants, one 19 months old and the other 2 years old.

She was arraigned by Massena Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and released under the supervision of probation, to reappear Dec. 18.

ONE INJURED - PARISHVILLE - Canton-based state police said one person was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:44 p.m. Monday on the Old Parishville-Potsdam Road, near Perrin Road, in the town of Potsdam. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Gerald W. Scovil, 59, of Potsdam.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - POTSDAM - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Monday. Among those:

■ Ramona M. Ralston, 58, of Madrid at 7:52 a.m. on County Route 34, near Flat Rock Road, in the town of Potsdam.

■ Liam P. Spencer, 17, of Pittsford at 12:39 p.m. on White Hill Road, near Garlough Road, in the town of Parishville.
