Ogdensburg police have released a photograph of a suspect in their investigation of two burglaries that occurred in the early morning hours of Nov. 12.

The photograph is of a balding man bent over a hole in a wooded area. The bottom right corner of the image reads “11-12-2013 22:38,” indicating the photograph was taken or downloaded on Nov. 12 at 10:38 p.m.

Detective Sgt. Robert H. Wescott declined Monday to provide further details.

“I’m not going to comment on the photograph other than it’s a photograph of the suspect,” he said.

At 1:34 a.m. on Nov. 12, police responded to an alarm call at Hosmer’s Marina, 54 East River St. Entry was made by smashing the glass out of a door. Once inside, the alarm sounded. A cash drawer with a quantity of cash and change was taken.

The second reported burglary was discovered by police at 3:34 a.m. at Bradley’s Service Station, 424 New York Ave. It is not believed anything was taken.

Entry was also gained by smashing the glass out of the entry door.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police at 393-1555.

“We do have some leads,” Mr. Wescott said.
