LISBON — Victor P. Green, 33, and Victoria A. Latimer, 21, of 10320 Route 37, were charged by state police Friday night following a domestic dispute.

Ms. Latimer was charged with second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child, while Mr. Green was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree harassment.

Police said Ms. Latimer was arguing with another resident in the house, Sarah L. Lajoy, when she took a knife, started waving it back and forth and threatened to stab Ms. Lajoy. They said the threats were made in front of Ms. Lajoy’s 7-year-old son.

After that incident, Mr. Green, who is Ms. Lajoy’s boyfriend, was arguing with her in their room. Tasha L. Law, another resident of the house, heard them and approached their room to investigate, police said. Mr. Green then grabbed Ms. Law by the throat, choking her to the point when she couldn’t breathe and causing her to have an asthma attack, police said.

Both Mr. Green and Ms. Latimer are scheduled to appear in Town Court.
