OGDENSBURG - Ogdensburg police are investigating a pair of forced entry burglaries that were reported two hours apart early Tuesday morning.

Hosmer’s Marina, 54 E. River St., was entered at 1:34 a.m. through a forcibly-opened door, and merchandise was taken, police said. No information was available about what was taken.

Bradley’s Service, of 424 New York Ave., was also entered at 3:37 a.m. through a forcibly-opened door, but nothing was taken, police said.

Chief Richard J. Polniak Jr. said the businesses might have been burglarized by the same person, since the businesses are a few blocks from each other and the burglaries were reported within a few hours of each other.

“It’s under investigation,” he said.
