Jefferson Community College will hold a nursing degree program information session at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Jules Center at the college, 1220 Coffeen St.
Topics of the information session will include prerequisite coursework and admission requirements, the college application process, financial aid and various nursing degree opportunities, according to a news release from the college.
Graduates of the colleges nursing program receive an associate in applied science degree in nursing and are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination to become a registered nurse.
Course registration for the spring semester began Monday.
