Police identify suspects in Carthage home invasion

CARTHAGE — State police have identified three suspects involved in a home invasion that occurred at 429 S. Mechanic St. early Tuesday morning.

Senior Investigator Michael J. Marvin said the unidentified victim was “familiar” with the two woman and one man who stormed into his house at 3:29 a.m. Tuesday morning, threatened him and then left the scene.

“The public is not in any danger,” he said.

The homeowner was not injured in the incident.

Investigator Marvin, who has described the incident as a home invasion and robbery, said he could not provide more details about happened, saying it could jeopardize the investigation.

“It’s ongoing,” he said. “The investigation is continuing.”
