MORRISTOWN - There are no seniors on the Morristown Boys Soccer team roster.

But the school district did honor junior Tristan Gilmour in a Senior Day ceremony before Monday’s home game with Edwards-Knox.

Gilmour, who has decided to graduate early, played a key role in making it a memorable Senior Day setting up the second goal of a key 2-0 victory in the scramble for Class D seedings in the Section 10 Tournament.

“Every win is big this time or year but this was a very big win for us. Edwards-Knox is a very good team and they played really well,” said Morristown Coach George Beaulieu after the Rockets generated a 16-8 shots-on-goal margin and climbed to 10-3-0 in their quest for a high seeding.

“Kaden Dandrow was very dangerous up front for the them but Devin Dulmage and Jacob Fox marked him well and Tyler Delosh had just a great game at outside fullback.”

Zach Kanaly netted what proved to be the winning goal when he curled a corner kick directly into the net with 24:58 remaining in the first first half.

With 3:52 remaining Gilmour set up a score by Jake VanArnam.

“We played a lot of kickball early in the game but we settled down and played offense the way we are supposed,” said Beaulieu.

Hermon-DeKalb 4, Clifton-Fine 1: Cameron Hance scored two unassisted goals and Steven Woods and Riley O

‘Donnell each connected once for the Demons (3-10-1, 3-8-1 NAC West) who built a 4-0 lead before the host Eagles scored. Zach Robinson chipped in and assist and made seven saves. Alberto Rubio scored for the Eagles.

Jordan Planty stopped 14 shots for 0-14-1, 0-13 NAC West Clifton-Fine.
