CANTON - The Massena Central varsity girls swim team dropped a 96-74 NAC Division I decision on the road to unbeaten Canton Central on Thursday.

Baylee Carroll accounted for the only two individual wins of the meet for the Lady Raiders (7-2), leading the 50 freestyle in 26.94 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 1:01.41.

Emily Hurlbut was the next leading scorer for Massena with second-place efforts in both the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle. Abigail Elman placed second in the 100 backstroke and third in the 200IM.

Angelina Domena and Macy Huntley anchored the Canton effort two individual wins each. They were also part of two winning relay teams as the Lady Bears improved to 9-0.

The other NAC meets on Thursday saw Potsdam beat Gouverneur 120-50 in a Division II matchup while OFA outscored Division I rival Franklin Academy 103-63.

Potsdam 120, Gouverneur 50: In Gouverneur, the Lady Sandstoners (5-3) scored wins in all but one event. Drew Brown was the lone swimmer to score a pair of individual wins, pacing the 200IM in 2:51.05 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:40. Also logging solo firsts for Potsdam were; Kelsey Sixberry in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:44.83, Cristy Stoian in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:28.94, Emma Visser in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:03.42, Emma Kroll in the 500 freestyle with a time of 6:25.3 and Katherine Blanchard in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:24.85.

Blanchard, Kroll and Visser also combined with Ariana Frascatore to win all three relay races, taking the lead the 200 medley in 2:19.95 the 200 freestyle in 2:00.26 and the 400 freestyle in 4:28.53.

Kiera McConnell led the 50 freestyle in 28.27 seconds for the lone first posted by the Lady Wildcats (0-8).
