Motorists charged with drunken driving

The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

n Ronald K. Minier, 54, Webster, was charged by city police with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, driving the wrong way on a one-way street, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and refusing a field sobriety test at 2:43 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Court Street. His blood alcohol content was unavailable because he refused a Breathalyzer test, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.

nLydia M. Gomez, 35, of 142 Flower Ave. W., was charged by city police at 1:50 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Mill Street. Her BAC was 0.11 percent, police said.

nRyan E. Cox, 37, of 21715 Heather Acres Drive, Apt. 5B, was charged by city police at 8:33 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Huntington Street. His BAC was 0.15 percent, police said.

n Carl R. McDonald, 37, of 9504 Woodbattle Road, Copenhagen, was charged by city police with felony DWI and failure to yield at an intersection at 12:56 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of State Street. His BAC was 0.11 percent. The felony charge stems from a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years, police said.

nJohn P. Arca, 41, of 30061 Burnup Road, Apt. 32, Black River, was charged by city police with felony DWI, operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device, refusing a field sobriety test and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 2:33 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Newell Street. His BAC was unavailable because he refused a Breathalyzer test. Mr. Arca had been convicted of DWI twice in the past 10 years, police said.

n Paris R. Wolfe, 24, of 385 Gaffney Drive, Apt. 1, also was charged by city police with an equipment violation at 2:49 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Arsenal Street. Her BAC was 0.15 percent, police said.

n Leigh A. Hollenbeck, 24, of 27634 Route 283, Apt. L23, Black River, also was charged by city police with an equipment violation police at 2:40 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Mill Street. Her BAC was 0.14 percent, police said.

nRichard F. Morris III, 26, of 180 Dorsey St., was charged by city police with unlawful possession of marijuana and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle at 1:50 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Mill Street.

n Giselle Santiago, 28, of 26280 Mountain Lane, LeRay, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies with an equipment violation and refusing a Breathalyzer test at 3 a.m. Sunday on Virginia Smith Drive in Calcium.

Charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs:

n Tyler S. LaJuett, 17, of 25675 Hinds Road, was charged at 10:37 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Huntington Street.

n Troy M. Heise, 23, of 344 N. California Ave., also was charged by Watertown police with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation at 9:52 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Huntington Street, police said.
