A report released by Hunger Action Network — an Albany-based nonprofit advocate for low-income people — concluded that members of the New York State Council on Food Policy haven’t accomplished what they set out to over the past six years.

Available at http://wdt.me/naHk5K, the report examined the effectiveness of the council over the past six years by surveying and interviewing its members, community food advocates and reviewing annual reports. By reviewing initiatives led by several governors, the report concludes the council had few initiatives it could point to as success stories over the past six years.
