The Jefferson Community College Foundation has launched a campaign to raise money for scholarships and other campus initiatives.

The “Building a Stronger Foundation: Brick by Brick” fundraising campaign allows JCC students, alumni, faculty and staff to purchase commemorative concrete paver blocks that will be placed around the Haas Clock Tower in the center of campus.

For $150, $250 or $500, people can have a name of their choosing engraved on pavers that range in size from 4 by 8 inches to 6 by 9 inches to 12 by 12 inches. Corporations may include a logo on a 12-by-12 paver for a donation of $1,000.

Donations are being accepted now, and the first installation will occur next summer, according to the college. The foundation hopes to engrave 1,500 stones during the campaign.

Additional information and a printable order form are available online at www.sunyjefferson.edu/pavers.
