P-H 0, M-W 0: “It was just another Madrid-Waddington vs. Parishville-Hopkinton East Division rivalry. It was intense. Both teams played very well and both teams’ goalies and defenses worked very hard,” said M-W coach Jeff Stein whose team stayed unbeaten at 8-0-1 in NAC East, 9-1-1 overall with a 12 save effort from T.J. Gagnon.

Kobe Wells had 12 saves for the Panthers (6-1-3, 4-1-3).

Parishville-Hopkinton 3, Tupper Lake 0: Brianna Hayes scored bookend goals for the visiting Panthers (8-2, 5-2 NAC East). She opened the scoring in the first minute assisted by Nicole White.

Hayes and White then combined to set up Olivia Collins two minutes later and the Lady Panthers never looked back as netminder Marlee Wilson was counted on to make just three saves backstopping the shutout.

“Our defense played very strongly,” noted P-H coach Evan Harper, who moved eight victories away from the 400-win plateau for his career while citing the backfield efforts of Dona Colbert, Cassara Cole, Kate Colbert, Taylor Scovil and Miranda Collins.

Hayes closed out the scoring against Tupper Lake in the second half off a corner kick.

Brooke Dewyea made 15 saves working the Tupper Lake (4-6-1, 4-4-1) crease.

The Lady Panthers are slated to host SLC on Monday.
